Salem Baptist Youth Minister Opening

 

Position: Youth Minister

Part-Time – compensation dependant on education and experience.

We are searching for a male or female Youth Minister that is at least 20 years old and is a committed follower of Jesus. The current youth group consists of 8 youth that are primarily high school age. Please mail or email resume to the above listed address’.

Must be an active member of a like-minded church

He or she must be called by God to Ministry and consider themselves to be a Shepherd of the Youth.

An attitude of Teamwork, not only within the Youth department but also with the entire ministry

Must be planning to live within driving distance for at least 12 consecutive months

Expectations:

Lead Bible Study on Sunday morning

Lead Bible Study on Wednesday evening

Schedule one youth event per month

Plan one large youth outing each year, (such as church camp)

Involve Youth in Salem Baptist Church’s growth strategies

Use Life Way sponsored curriculum and discuss teaching plan with pastor.

Must attend church business and council meetings

D-Now Ministry Opportunity

A youth pastor in Farmington Missouri is looking for a group of students to help out with a Disciple Now event Febrary 17-19. Students will likely be compensated in the range of $50-100. Three men and three women are needed, as well as a team of students to lead worship. D-now events are weekend experiences for high school students designed to help them grow in their faith. As a volunteer you will have opportunities to minister to students in small groups, obtain valuable ministry experience, and recieve compensation. Hazlewood Baptist Music Internship

This position is a volunteer position.  The commitment would be for a one semester duration.  Hazelwood Baptist Church is a fun and exciting church at which to serve.  The people love college students, and we currently have a Sunday Night College discussion group called The Bridge.

Hazelwood Baptist Church is located in North County at McDonnell Blvd. and I-270.

Responsibilities include:

10-20 office hrs./wk. plus Sunday Morning

Some Hospital Visitation training (During office hours)

Office work to include copying/sorting music

Some Worship Leading

Attend some worship planning meetings

Attend some Church Staff Meetings

Involved in some music arrangement

Worship Pastor would provide necessary reviews and documentation to meet all Missouri Baptist University requirements.

Music Intern Position

Kingshighway Baptist Church is looking for a a music intern to lead worship for us on Sunday mornings and evenings. We need some one who can lead a blended service with love and enthusiasm. We are a South City church that is multi-cultural and wanting to reach out to a community that is diverse. KBC needs someone who can come with a servant's heart and a desire to minister in the city.

Children's Ministry Opportunity

Parker road Baptist Church is beginning a MOPS  program to reach out to young families. We are needing help with the children’s  part of the program, Moppets. We could use up to four volunteers. The curriculum is Veggie Tales based. MOPS meets at 6:30 pm on the first and third Tuesday nights. Volunteers must pass a criminal records check.
