Assistant/Associate Professor of Information Technology

The Division of Business is seeking candidates for a possible full-time, faculty appointment to teach courses in Information Technology at the main University campus in West Saint Louis County. This appointment will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and education and will begin in January, 2012.

Special consideration will be given to candidates having expertise in Business Intelligence or IT/Risk Management. Familiarity with Enterprise Systems and ability to apply IT to enhance the effectiveness of business operations is required. Candidates with knowledge and experience with CompTIA Certification is a plus. Industry experience and ability to develop partnerships with IT and industry leaders is required. Will teach fundamental courses in IT and Business Administration, in addition to undergraduate and graduate level courses in area of expertise. Must be a program builder, good communicator, work well with a team and with students, and able to generate excitement about learning.

An earned doctorate in Information Technology, Computer Information System or Computer Science from an accredited institution is required. A Master’s degree in above listed area accompanied with industry experience will be considered. Teaching experience required.
