MBU believes in seeing the world through a Christian worldview. Part of viewing the world in this way is taking part in social justice. We do not want to just talk about serving others; we need to BE servants to those who need to be served. In fact our #5 Core Value is – “We believe in social change through service and leadership”. Jesus has called his followers to be servant leaders in this world. Let’s take hold of this calling and be a positive change in society!
GO - BE - LIVE!

Join members of Matthias' Lot Church as they demonstrate the love of Christ by satisfying basic needs of the local community. Last year this group had the opportunity to love and serve the St Charles community by helping with small home repairs and improvements such as clean up, yard work, building a handrail, and cleaning and repairing gutters. All individuals are considered for assistance, but this group specifically seeks to serve single moms, widows, the elderly, and the disabled.
