MISSION STATEMENT: The Education Division at Missouri Baptist University seeks: to develop and train professional educators of excellence from a Christian perspective; to enhance the life of students in the classroom intellectually, spiritually, physically, and socially; and to significantly influence students through the demonstrated integration of Christian faith and learning in the classroom so that they may become positive change agents throughout the broader community.

Jim French, Education Division ChairThe Education Division recognizes the importance of diversity in education and attempts to provide students with a sound experimental base through coursework and field experiences. Special needs of students from diverse backgrounds are addressed throughout several courses required for certification. These courses serve to heighten the awareness of American youth's, culture, lifestyles, and learning patterns so that teachers can enable youth to be more successful in school.
